Architectural perspectives – photo critique

Architectural perspective
the image below is very well composed with all the boxes ticked. Horizontal line of sight follows the rule of thirds, the converging point of perspective is going also following the rule of thirds. Not sure if you have done in on purpose but it looks that way. I have nothing else to comment on the composition as it is the right one.I would have done the same
The image does not have a wow factor though. Maybe a bit of post precessing – maybe a bit more? I can see a bit of vignetting, not sure if intentional or this is just your lens?
For a perspective like that I would take the effort and remove the left over bag I see in the image, and also for an interesting effect maybe the water can have the long exposure effect. For that you might need to consider a neutral density filter to enable to use long exposures in daylight on a tripod and have the nice flow of the water captured
Light is nice, good contrast. Very good image, nothing to say against it, but it lacks power, does not stand out…not sure.
Black and white symmetry
the image below is definitely more artistic and more daring then the other. the intension is clear, the composition as well. I thing the black top part is a bit to heavy and I would have changed the perspective to the floor level..maybe it would have been more interesting?! the rhythm and the impact still be there. I see a good photography intent
Lovely portrait, lovely colour effect, a bit too much space above the head, otherwise it is a very good portrait. The boy is a good model as well, the expression is very nice. Your son?
no issue with the composition other than above comment, also a very good portrait overall.

I enjoyed looking at these pictures and I sense the photographer in you…where is your website?
Thanks Christian,
Appreciate your valuable feedback. Yes, the boy is in the photograph is my son. Thanks for your compliment.
Regarding the website, I am still learning through your tutorials and I feel it will be too early to create a website.
I should say that, with your tutorials every day I am learning new things and I feel this is the best site on the internet to learn about the photography.
You are doing a very good job…people like us are learning new things.
God bless you!
Regards
