The bridge
Content 7.5 out of 10
this is not just the bridge, but a brideg in dialogue with the city at night. This is a great landscape photography example and I believe the image is very good, appealing, interesting to look at. Bridges are not something never seen but your approach is one of the good ones.

I love the colours here, clearly landscape photography of which is my favourite subject, there is a well balanced symmetry going on here I like the colour shift in the blues and the colour reflection, did you post process this or straight from the camera?
Composition 8.5 out of 10
Simply put I love it it has great composition and is a true eye catcher, nice job indeed

No complaints here nice balance in the right places.

Something has to give just a little and it’s been mentioned sharpness loss, but that’s all down to the camera a easy thing to overcome.

Very striking image of a bridge shot in beautiful light.
Composition: TRS mark 8/10
I really like this composition. Placing the tall bridge structures to one side balanced the image and is visually pleasing. Very good use of reflections and the star-light created by the street lamp adds interest. You clearly demonstrate excellent photographic skills. Well done.
Image quality: TRS mark 8/10
This is work of a photographer. I appreciate how you took control of your camera and used it as a tool to create your images. Your chosen aperture gave you good dof, producing also the star-lights. Is this a long exposure as it seems that you shot at the ‘edge’ of the day.
Excellent work.

Excellent subject matter. You have captured the moment well.
Composition: 8
Excellent composition. Well balanced and not over crowded. Only thing I may do different is zoom out to make slightly more room on top. Top of the bridge may be too close to the edge and will drop the horizon down toward the lower third of the picture away from the center more.
Image Quality: 8
Image is really good for this type of shot. You have captured it well!

Really good photograph overall. I can see you take pride in your work and an eye for balance. It would be really hard to improve on this photograph. Good job!

Good content.
Composition: 8
Excellent composition. Everything is balanced well.
Image Quality: 6
Image quality is the only thing holding this back. This would really pop if he was more in focus. Was this on a tripod by chance? If so did you make sure to turn the Image Stabilization off?

Good photograph, but wasn’t tact sharp. Can you give us what ISO, Shutter Speed, Aperture, Lens, etc… you used for this shot?

A dramatic male portrait. Very powerful and works well in black and white.
Composition: TRS mark 8/10
Beautifully composed observing the ‘rule of thirds’. You used a ‘broad’ lighting style to very good effect as the portrait is strikingly lit creating a dramatic effect. Undiffused, hard light worked very well on your ‘male’ subject. There is some separation from the background too that visually enhances this strong image. Classical pose in that the subject looks towards the shoulder closer to the camera – very masculine. Thumbs up to your model too.
Personally, I like catchlights as they give ‘life’ to the eyes and might have opened up the shadows on the face, using a reflector perhaps. Still this is an excellent image. Very well done, a portrait to be proud of.
Image quality: TRS mark 6/10
I expect to see a sharper image although this may be due to conversion.
Grey, you clearly demonstrate excellent photographic skills. Keep in touch as we are sure to benefit from your work.

A candid shot of a woman in front of a building. I like the facial expression but am not too keen about the rather distracting background.
Composition: TRS mark 6.5/10
Rule of thirds is observed to good effect. However, I feel that the windows in the background compete with your main subject. Could you have used a shallower depth of field in order to blur the background and have the subject stand out perhaps?
The woman’s gaze to her side is appealing as it creates curiosity, angst almost. This makes the image.
Is the crop intentional? I’m particularly concerned about the partly hidden ‘cropped’ right hand as this makes it look, in my opinion, rather awkward.
The various elements in the photo do not work as best they can but visually compete for attention. In this sense, I much prefer your ‘Man portrait’
Image quality: TRS mark 6/10
Not much to add here. The image seems to lack clarity and vibrance although this is fraught with many, as I’m sure that you agree, variables such as monitor settings, ambient light etc. There is also the conversion factor.
Grey, I wish to see more of your work since you exhibit technical ability, quality and style. Keep up the good work.
