Hello there, firstly many thanks for your youtube video’s, & tutorials they are excellent & well put across for any new & professional photographer. I saw your video with regards the submitting 3x photographs for Critique, please find them attached below, I would value any feedback that you can forward me.
A little about myself I have been a avid photographer since leaving school in the 80s I started with 35mm film and recently 2009 moved to the digital age, it has really taken off since then along with Lightroom & Photoshop editing, it’s a massive eye opener.
I now have just started my own business (The London Wedding Photography Company) with two friends also avid photographers, and looking to keep ourselves busy with lots of weddings next year, as well as events & family portraits etc.
Many thanks again for your time & effort I look forward to hearing any feedback, hope that we can stay in touch.
your sincerely

thank you for your submission
As general comments I recognise good photography skills into these photos. Not sure if you a have your own original style yet. They are completely different but that is not a criticism
I had a look on your links and I believe you need your own website as that is the way to go and look professional rather than a guy with a good camera and good skills
The Goose
Not much to comment on. You know how to use the fast shutter speed, interesting image, is wildlife photography your main interest? This is a good picture, subject, composition are OK, but the image does not have any emotion.
Girl Portrait
I believe this is over the top in terms of post production. The images is disturbingly over smoothened for my taste. Good composition, good style, nice light. I believe in post production but this is too much in my personal opinion
Couple Portrait
I do not believe this is a professional level image despite the exposure brush you applied. It is average in all the ways and I cannot say anything more. Would you present this into a selected portfolio? what makes this different that any other images taken by any other guy with a DSLR in a park?
as a photographer you are responsible for the end result, from the subject clothing advice and poses and expressions. It is your fault the image does not stand out…:)
Simon
Having a look on your work on your social media links and icons, I believe you are a good photographer, you have got the skills to go the next level, but the last 2 images are not your best work.
Many thanks for comments & feedback Christian all are valuable, to me to progress, Currently I vary my field of photography it’s nice to get out & about, try new subjects, I started as a landscape photographer at heart, however wanted to try all fields to see how i would progress in them, I do not have my own personal website, as we are setting up a business site very shortly http://www.thelondonweddingphotographycompany.co.uk
maybe in the future I may start my own site.
best wishes
Simon
